Nurture Questionnaire
WYM Board on
Meeting Development
and Nurture
The Western Yearly Meeting Board on Meeting Development and Nurture is looking for ways to carry out the "nurture" part of its responsibilities. Faith and Practice calls for the Board "to be an extensive resource to existing meetings within the yearly meeting."
Anytime you are looking for guidance, want to know what other Meetings are doing to reach others, or just want to discuss some growth ideas, we invite you to complete the questionnaire and enter into a discussion with the Board.
NOTE: Board meetings are third Saturdays of January, May and September. If you are submitting a questionnaire please send at least two weeks prior to each scheduled meeting.

Faith & Practice Study Guide Now Available
A Study Guide for the 2005 edition of the Western Yearly Meeting Faith and Practice has been prepared by the Board on Christian Ministries and Evangelism. It is available here for download.

Richmond Declaration of Faith Study Guide
A study Guide for the Declaration of Faith issued by the Richmond Conference in 1887 is now available for free online.
"Declaring Our Faith" was originally issued by Friends United Meeting in 1992
WYM Growth Grants are Available
Growth grants are available to meetings from the Board on Meeting Development & Nurture. Board meetings are the third Saturdays of January, May, and September. Grant applications are due at the Yearly Meeting office one month prior to those meetings.

150th Anniversary Book:
The History of Western Yearly Meeting from its Founding to its Sesquicentennial is now available. The book features a history of Western Yearly Meeting by J. Brent Bill and pen and ink drawings of meetings in the Yearly Meeting by Jamie Lyon.
